One week ago my parents and I finally opened our restaurant. I don't think I have ever been this tired or worked this hard. However, I am having so much fun. I have a new found respect for a few of my past employers. It's hard to believe that I would have to assign someone to take out the trash in the employee restroom. You would think if it was full someone would take it out and get a new bag, but they just keep throwing in the paper towels. I went in there today and the pile was so high the towels were slowly dirfting to the floor. But, what can you do.

I heard our radio commercial on Sunny 99.1 the other day and when they announced our new location in the Portofino Shopping center I almost started to cry. I got really choked up. It was a wave of relief. For a while I didn't think we would ever get open. We had our grand opening last Wednesday and 99.1 did a radio remote on Saturday. We survived Mother's Day and even had to turn some people away we were so busy.

I take a lot of pictures of the guests at the restaurant, but I have no idea when I will be able to get out and take some of my own. Therefore, I have decided not to renew my subscription until I know I will be getting some days off.
